Benny and Gracie
Travis was nothing short of a pleasure to work with. Not only is he personable, caring, and incredibly knowledgeable, but he also possesses an unparalleled passion for his expertise. At the beginning of our training, my dog, Gracie, was about 4 months old. Being that she is a Goldendoodle, her intelligence soon proved to be just as much of a vice as it was a virtue. If she wanted to get her way, she knew exactly how. Her defiance, mixed with a lack of bite inhibition and chronic leash pulling, soon became too much for me to handle on my own. After working with Travis, Gracie became much more docile, reciprocative, and (most importantly) stopped pulling on our walks! What I personally loved about working with Travis is that he’s also willing to teach you methods to do on your own time, in order to help further progress when he’s not around. I couldn’t recommend a better trainer.
Tim and Isaac
Major kudos for the great training! Travis helped us with our yellow lab, Isaac. Isaac was 2 when we got him. We only had small dogs before, but Isaac fell into our lives, and we fell in love with him. There was a lot we didn’t know about Isaac and soon we were dealing with a lot of issues. We didn’t know any of his history or how to handle a bigger dog. Isaac didn’t listen to us at all. We tried dog training classes, but couldn’t get Isaac to listen at home. After working with Travis, we understand so much more. Travis trained Isaac and taught us all the maintenance. Now Isaac is excellent! He always does what he has been requested. Thank you again for all the things you did to help Isaac and our family!!
Rusty
We hired Travis to help us with our very stubborn, but very lovable, three legged golden retriever rescue. We struggled with Rusty’s daily walks as he has unique needs as a tripod when he walks. He would lay down and “rest” and then refuse to get up. At first we thought he just not capable of walking that far but then realized that he was just being stubborn. Travis worked with us to show us the things that we were doing to exacerbate the situation like a steady pull on the leash and the collar that we were using. He used his experience with his Seeing Eye dogs and tried different techniques until we found one that worked well with Rusty. He fully understood that not one technique works for all dogs. I would highly recommend Travis!

Travis is a great trainer and even better person! I didn’t have a dog for 10 years because of health problems. I was so happy to have a dog again, but quickly became depressed when I couldn’t get her to behave. Zara was harder to control than any dog I had before. I just wanted to pull my hair out and lost so much confidence. Travis taught my dog everything I couldn’t. He was patient with me while also pushing me to handle my dog. Since working with Travis, I feel so much more confident. I can go places with Zara I was afraid to before. I have the dog I wanted when I first got Zara. It was a pleasure to meet him, and I can’t thank him enough!
